McDougall-McConaghy Announced as Title Sponsor for 2013 Moth World Championship in Kaneohe, Hawaii

McDougall-McConaghy, the partnership that designed, builds and distributes the dominant Mach2 Moth are to be the title sponsor for this year’s Moth World Championships hosted by Kaneohe Yacht Club, in Hawaii in October 2013.
Andrew McDougall says “ We have a tradition of helping out at Moth World Championships where we provide on-site servicing for the sailors, and its great to be in a position to invest still further in the class we love. The Moth class has quickly become the darling of the sailing world with a wonderful mix of people from Olympic sailors thru Americas Cup, to the solid guys and girls who sail day in, day out and are just as passionate about the Moth as we are. It’s a wonderful mix, and for us the highlight of any year”.
With the event following on just after the Americas Cup, this coming Moth World Championships could see the most diverse and talented line up of sailors ever seen in one class, and the beautiful Kaneohe Yacht club provides the perfect stage for such dramatic play.
We scoured the world for stocks of Bladerider parts and bought them to one place. Not only do we have stocks of original BR parts, but we have some refurbished parts too. More importantly we have some items that are made to an improved design, or with better material than the original parts. Now you can keep your BR going for more years of enjoyment.

The 2012 London Olympics has seen some incredible competition amongst all the sailing classes, with Mach2 sailors dominating. Australian's Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen won Gold at Weymouth in the 49er Class from second place and fellow Mach2 sailor, New Zealander, Peter Burling. Australian Laser sailor Tom Slingsby won Gold with an impressive regatta, where he had the event all but won coming into the medal race.
